Personal Identification: Name, active mobile telephone number (for OTP verification), email address, and exact residential delivery address within Chamba district.

Device Location (Optional / Foreground): With your explicit in-app consent, we access your device’s approximate or precise GPS location while using the app to accurately autofill your delivery address and match you with nearest Chamba fulfillment centers.

Device Information: Device model, Android OS version, unique device identifiers, and crash diagnostic logs to maintain app stability on low-bandwidth mountain networks.

ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION & ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Used strictly to pinpoint hill-hamlet delivery destinations and verify that delivery addresses fall within our active Chamba service zones. Location data is never shared with advertising third parties.

CAMERA / READ_MEDIA_IMAGES (Optional): Used solely if you choose to take a photo of a damaged item or wrong product when submitting an in-app return or replacement ticket.

NOTIFICATION PERMISSION: Used to provide live parcel milestone notifications (e.g. "Order Out for Delivery in Chamba"). You may disable notifications at any time via Android device settings.

Payment Processing: We do not store your complete credit/debit card numbers or UPI PINs. All financial payments are processed through RBI-authorized, PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways (e.g. Razorpay).

SMS & Communications: We use licensed Indian telecom gateways to transmit one-time passwords (OTP) and delivery status updates.

In full compliance with Google Play Store User Data policies, users can request complete deletion of their Jhatpat account and associated personal data at any time.

How to delete your account: You may initiate account deletion directly within the Jhatpat App under Settings → Account → "Delete My Account", or by sending an email with your registered phone number to support@jhatpat.ragedeliveries.com with the subject "Account Deletion Request".

Upon verification, your account, delivery addresses, and personal credentials will be permanently erased from active databases within 14 calendar days, except for statutory tax/invoice logs retained under Indian law.

We implement industry-grade encryption (TLS/HTTPS in transit and AES-256 at rest) to safeguard consumer personal information.

All data is stored securely on servers located in India, adhering strictly to Indian data localization and sovereignty standards.
